Illinois Terrorism Task Force Awards $3.4 Millionfor Local Emergency Radios

SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Terrorism Task Force (ITTF) announced today that 156 local emergencyresponse agencies will receive more than $3.4 million to help them comply with federal communicationsrequirements. The grants were recently awarded by the ITTF using federal homeland security funds thestate receives from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
