Conference Background
This conference was originally conceived from information sharing partnerships between the UASI program managers of the Charlotte and Miami UASIs, who recognized a distinct need for an information sharing platform. The first of these conferences was held in Dallas, TX in 2005; supported by the International Association of Fire Chiefs, Metro Chiefs Committee. This conference was largely attended by fire professionals and UASI administrative professionals, who recognized the need for greater information sharing. Learn More....
Conference Goals and Objectives
The goal of the conference is to bring together those involved daily
in UASI programs in order to provide a forum for exchange of
information on both technical and managerial aspects of the program.
The conference also hopes to serve as a opportunity for sharing best
practices from some of the Urban Area Security Initiatives Program
participants. It is strongly felt that it is time to re-examine
procedures and practices, and to assess the overall programmatic
objectives of many of the UASI programs across the nation. Learn More....
