Update 4/15/10
Our conference hotel, the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, is just about full and sold out on Sunday night in particular. We are working to get more rooms added to the block but we do not know if and when that will happen.
In the meantime we do have a block of rooms at two nearby Hilton properties: the Embassy Suites and Doubletree Hotel New Orleans. We have arranged for the GSA rate at each hotel for a block of rooms under the code UAS. This brings the total number of hotel rooms with GSA rates in our block up to 960. You would think this would be enough but it may not. If not, there are other non-Hilton hotels in the immediate area where you might be able to get a GSA rate. The New Orleans UASI (Bob Williams) is working to set up blocks at each of these hotels. Information on those will be provided as soon as it is available.
At this point, we suggest you make a reservation at an alternative hotel. At your option, you could stay at one of these other hotels Sunday night and then move to the conference hotel (based on limited remaining availability for Monday-Thursday) or you could stay at the other hotel for the duration of the conference.
NOTE: One important tip, with all three web sites you must use the "Book a Room" button for it to work correctly.
